A Writ Petition that challenged the arbitrary, unfair and unreasonable decision of the immigration authorities at Calcutta Airport to illegally deport an American citizen, in possession of a valid passport and visa, without affording any reason. This Writ Petition invoked basic fundamental rights available to every human being, inter alia the provisions of the Passport Act.
