NCLAT, New Delhi passed interim orders in these appeals that arose from a judgment delivered by NCLT in two Petitions of Oppression and Mismanagement filed by two group of directors against each other. First, on account of the deadlock in the management and the board, the NCLAT appointed an independent Chairperson to run the affairs of the Company during the pendency of the Appeals. Secondly, the NCLAT also directed the Independent Chairperson to appoint a Forensic Accountant to conduct forensic audit of the affairs and accounts of the Company.
